Dental implants
Dental implants that feel like your own teeth
A permanent, natural-looking replacement for one tooth, several, or a full arch.
About the treatment
The most natural way to replace a missing tooth
A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth and supports a new tooth on top. It is a permanent, aesthetic replacement that looks, feels and works like your own.
In most cases the implant is placed quickly and comfortably. Many patients find it more pleasant than having a tooth removed. And you are never left with a visible gap during treatment.
Why patients choose it
- Looks naturalAn implant sits in the gum the way a natural tooth does.
- Spares other teethUnlike a bridge or denture, it needs no support from neighbouring teeth.
- Protects the boneAn implant stops the jawbone from shrinking, keeping the support and shape of your face.
- Protects remaining teethIt spreads the chewing load and stops teeth drifting into the gap.
- Fixed in placeNothing to take out at night, unlike a denture.
- No decay or sensitivityAn implant never needs a filling or root canal treatment.

Treatment options
One tooth, several, or a full arch
Single tooth
One implant replaces one tooth, without touching the teeth next to it, and keeps the gum and bone around it healthy.
Several teeth
Two or more implants, or implants joined by a bridge so you do not need one implant per tooth. Less surgery, and often more cost-effective.
Full arch and All-on-4
When all teeth are missing or failing, implants anchor a fixed, permanent bridge. With All-on-4, four implants can carry a full arch of 10 to 14 teeth on the same day.
Implant-retained dentures
For some patients, for example after aggressive gum disease, a removable bridge on implants is easier to clean and maintain.
Questions
Before you book
Anything else on your mind? Ask Dr. Doaa at your consultation, or write to us.
Is implant placement painful?
In most cases it is quick and comfortable, carried out under local anaesthetic. Many patients find it more pleasant than having a tooth taken out.
Will I have a gap while I wait?
No. Dr. Doaa makes sure your smile looks good at every stage of treatment.
I am missing all my teeth. Can implants help?
Yes. A full arch of implants can support a fixed bridge. With the All-on-4 technique, four implants can be placed and loaded with a full arch on the same day, on the upper or lower jaw.
Do I need one implant for every missing tooth?
Not always. Implants can be joined with a bridge, which means less surgery and often a lower cost.
